Para responder a las Preguntas Generales con la Palabra Interrogativa “where” (dónde), podemos utilizar las siguientes palabras:
- Here: aquí.
- Far: lejos.
- Down: abajo.
- There: allí, allá.
- In: en, dentro.
- To: a.
- Outside: afuera, fuera de.
- Out: afuera.
- On: en, sobre.
- Inside: adentro.
- Near: cerca de.
- Up: arriba.
- At: en.
- In front of: enfrente de.
- In back of: detrás de.
- Above: encima.
- Between: entre dos.
- Below: abajo, debajo de.
- Among: entre más de dos.
Aquí te dejamos algunos ejemplos:
- Where will she sit? / ¿Dónde se sentará ella?
She will sit on the chair. / Ella se sentará en la silla.
- Where does she want to dance? / ¿Dónde quiere ella bailar?
She wants to dance at the party. / Ella quiere bailar en la fiesta.
- Can we park here? / ¿Podemos estacionar aquí?
No, you can´t park here. / No, ustedes no pueden estacionar aquí.
- Where can we park? / ¿Dónde podemos estacionar?
You can park in front of the building. / Ustedes pueden estacionar al frente del edificio.
